Since May 2018, the company has been locally owned and operated by Jerry C. Deese, a South Carolina licensed funeral director and embalmer with over 20 years of experience in the profession.

Jerry, who is also the owner of Milton Shealy Funeral Home in Batesburg, South Carolina, brings his dedication to compassionate care and attention to detail into every aspect of Palmetto Mortuary Transport. Under his leadership, PMT continues to uphold a reputation for reliability, respect, and discretion in the most sensitive of times.

Our highly trained team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, ensuring prompt, professional, and courteous removal and transportation services exclusively for funeral homes and coroner offices across the region.
